1.) The Diva's Hustle mantra: "Too Strong, Too Smart, and Too Fabulous to Settle." Do you feel that you exemplify these things and if so how?
Alyssa: Absolutely! I’m surrounded by people whose goal in life is to work a 9-5. I get looked down upon for being a college dropout and I hear daily that a college degree is the only way out. I realized early on that I wasn’t happy working for someone else. I hated being out of control when it came to my own life. If I get a call to go out of town to see my family, I need to be able to do that without anyones permission. I refuse to settle into a life I am unhappy with because of what society thinks is right. I have way too much to offer to be sitting in a brick building all day - there so much more to life that goes beyond that. My goal is to show people that you can do what you want…not what you think your supposed to do!!!
2.) How did you get to where you are now?
Alyssa: Choosing me first. Knowing that I wasn’t comfortable with what I thought was right and waiting until I figured out what made me comfortable.
3.) Who is your biggest fashion influences now?
Alyssa: I love India Westbrooks' style (India Love). Of course I don’t have the cash flow to actually wear things like her, I drool at her outfits on a daily basis.
4.) What is your perspective on regrets?
Alyssa : I don’t believe in them…whatever happened, you meant it at the time. Things that happened in the past have shaped you into the person you are today.
5.) Do you have any tattoo's? If so why describe one tattoo and why is it important.
Alyssa: Yes, i have 2. I have a dove holding an olive branch behind my ear/on my neck. I got this around the time I stopped getting into trouble with the law. It represents peace of mind, knowing that I am okay now.
6.) What are 5 thing's we would find in your purse right now?
Alyssa: A lot of pink, a lot of cute little bags, carmex OF COURSE, portable battery charger because my phone always dies in places that don’t have plugs, and my moneyyyy

7.) Name 2 people who inspire you now and why they do?
Alyssa: I've recently been very inspired by Draya. There’s probably a negative connotation attached to the mention of her name from her past, but her life is amazing. She is a designer who obviously is rich without going to college. She is a hustler and I love that about her. She probably never has to want for anything. I am also inspired by Bethany Mota, a youtuber turned millionaire. She’s got a clothing line in Aeropostale, which is amazing. I want to make it big like she did. I plan to.
8.) What is your perspective on regrets?
Alyssa: I don’t believe in them…whatever happened, you meant it at the time. Things that happened in the past have shaped you into the person you are today.
9.) Tell us a little more of your background where you grew up and came from to where are you going now.
Alyssa: This is all exclusive stuff that I’m going to talk about. I’ve never made this public but I think now is a good time to tell more about me. I grew up with an alcoholic mother and a father who treated me like the ugly duckling. They were separated for most my life so of course I have two step parents. I’ve been in and out of juvenile facilities for running away from home, and I’ve been to Girl School which is like a kiddy version of prison. Well, I’ve been independent for all of my teenage years. Most things I’ve had to figure out on my own. I don’t really know what it’s like to have a parent to lean on when times get rough. At one point my life was spent being alive…just existing with no purpose. It wasn’t until recently that YouTube came into my life and showed me my purpose. I have big things planned for my future.
10.) Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Alyssa: I see myself as an owner of a successful magazine and clothing store. Maybe even a chain of hair salons. Ive got plenty up my sleeves.
11.) How old are you and what does that number mean to you?
Alyssa: I am 21. I am forever going to be 21. I love this age. It is the prime of my life, I can already tell.
12.) Name one of your beauty secrets? If you have one. (i.e. a facial mask, hair conditioning concation, work out secret, and etc)
Alyssa: I use A&D ointment on my face as a moisturizer!
13.) Name your top 5 hype songs that motivate you.
Alyssa: I don’t really have any at the moment. I am not a real heavy music listener at the moment.
14.) What the best advice you can give about having a Diva's Hustle mind set?
Alyssa: You need to understand yourself before you make any decisions that effect your future.Know what makes you happy and don’t let anyone try to change what that is. Remember, it is YOUR life and you should spend it doing what pleases you NOT what pleases other people
